Lars Thore Fadnes will defend the PhD-degree Friday the 3rd of June at the University of Bergen with the thesis:

Counselling, child growth and feeding of children in Uganda in the era of HIV: Contexts and consequences

The defence will take place in Bergenat BBB auditorium 4 close to Haukeland after the trial lecture the same day. BBB is the large building just above the Haukeland sykehusapotek (click the link to see a map). The auditorium is to the left when coming up the stairs from the main entrance. This will start from 09:15 (please be there on time). There will be a short break with some coffee/tee and refreshments between the trial lecture and the defence.

Tidspunkt og sted for disputasen og prøveforelesningen:

Sted: Auditorium 4 på Bygg for biologiske basalfag like ved Haukeland Universitetssykehus

Disputasen blir i Bergen på Bygg for biologiske basalfag (BBB) like ved Haukeland universitetssykehus. BBB ligger like ovenfor Haukeland sykehusapotek (klikk på linken for å se kart). Auditoriet er på venstre side når man kommer opp trappene fra hovedinngangen til BBB. Disputasen blir rett etter prøveforelesningen som starter kl 09:15 (begynner presis). Det blir en kort pause mellom prøveforelesningen og disputasen med mulighet for en kopp kaffe eller te.

    I am so grateful to God for the fact that Lars Thore Fadnes has been able to defend his thesis and have it deffended successful,We met In Mbale Eastern Uganda while He was carrying Out His research,as a family he became our friend and we are happy that atlast He has made,His contribution to the Public Health Sector will benefit the world,not Only His home country.

    We are grateful too to all those who helped Him to be who He is today.
